Rob Hain

Rob Hain is a professional artist working from his home studio in the Scottish Borders. Specialising in the depiction of cities as well as towns and villages, he believes that people are what makes a community vibrant and appealing. Working in acrylic on canvas, he first establishes the buildings and structures, with their diverse styles and colours, before inhabiting the scenes with people, ‘to make the painting sing!’ He is equally at home in Glenfinnan, or gazing up at the amazing, iconic Kelpies, beautifully sculpted by Andy Scott.
