Nikki Monaghan works from her studio in Falkirk, Central Scotland, drawing on her background from the BBCollege of Textiles (Heriot Watt University) where she studied Printed Textile Design. Nikki Monaghan Her subject matter consistently includes landscapes, villages and towns across Scotland — and here she brings the village of Culross to life, weaving memory and observation into one stylised, expressive depiction.
