Enchanted by Matylda Konecka is a print that fully embraces the artist’s gift for building strange, compelling worlds. A sheep stands at the centre of a mossy woodland clearing while a cast of curious figures, birds and tiny watchers gather around it beneath twisting branches and coloured lights. A glowing lamp adds a soft focal brightness, but the rest of the scene stays shadowed and secretive, encouraging the eye to wander slowly from detail to detail. Enchanted feels playful, yet also slightly eerie in the best possible way.
