Dreams Carrier by Matylda Konecka is a print about movement, imagination and the hidden life of a sleeping city. A tall, slender figure crosses moonlit rooftops pulling a cart piled high with suitcases, while a small companion helps guide the load across the skyline. Behind them, clustered roofs, chimneys and a clocktower sit beneath a large moon and broken clouds. Dreams Carrier has a theatrical quality, but it also carries a feeling of tenderness, as though the figure is quietly transporting hopes, memories or stories while everyone else sleeps.
